With our new 'Messages' feature, communication just got much easier! From now on, your HR team, managers or buddies can message and share files with new hires directly through the Appical app. This way you can keep all onboarding related communications in one central place.

Why messages?

Every new hire’s onboarding journey is unique and turning it into a positive experience is key to a successful onboarding. A personal touch will make them feel special, more engaged and a part of the company - faster.

New hires can contact HR, managers or buddies directly, even before their first day. The HR department, Hiring Manager or buddy can also ask for feedback, send text messages to new hires or groups as well as share documents, images and files directly.

To get up to speed on the new messaging functionality we have 5 tips for you...

 

Tip 1: Send a personalized welcome message

A personal touch will make them feel special, more engaged and part of the company -  faster. General welcome messages are so 2017! Use this new communication tool to impress and capture your new hire’s attention. Who doesn’t want to find a personal welcome note waiting for them, right?

 

Tip 2: Collect feedback on the spot

Do you know how your new hires are performing or if they have any questions? Through Appical reporting you can view and analyse quantitative data.

“How is your new hire feeling?”....Shoot them a message to find out if they have questions to find out what support they need.

 

Tip 3: Send them extra information - Easily! PDFs, infographics or external links

We know keeping key information in one place can be hard.

Tip 4: Create a group and help your new hires connect with their peers
